#01 Vintage Zuni Sterling Silver Sunface Turquoise Coral MOP Inlay Cuff Bracelet
Beautiful vintage Zuni sterling silver cuff featuring a traditional Sunface motif created in colorful stone and shell inlay.
The oval centerpiece combines turquoise, red coral, luminous mother-of-pearl and black inlay likely jet or onyx, separated by crisp geometric channels. A twisted-rope silver border surrounds the Sunface, which is mounted on an elegant split double-rail sterling cuff.
Marked STERLING on the interior. No artist signature is currently visible. The bracelet displays attractive vintage patina and normal surface character consistent with age.
The Sunface is an important traditional Zuni motif associated with the sun and life-sustaining warmth; contemporary Zuni artist resources continue to describe the Sunface as representing the sacred Sun Father.
