#221E- Vintage Fenton Basket Rosalene Pink White Ruffled Art Glass Twist Handle "Lambs Tongue" Pattern Signed Bill Fenton & Fenton Mark UV Reactive
The Fenton Art Glass Basket in Pink Rosalene with a Lamb's Tongue design is a beautiful decorative piece of hand-blown art glass. Made in the United States. This glossy finish basket features a single compartment with applied handle and is signed by renowned Fenton artist Bill Fenton. With dimensions of 6 3/4 inches in length, 8 1/2 inches in height, and 6 inches in width, this piece is a true reflection of the craftsmanship and artistry of Fenton Art Glass. It is a unique and exquisite addition to any collection of decorative pottery and glassware.
The distinct, non-uniform mix of opaque white and translucent pink, resembling the "slag" (by-product) from iron smelting that was historically added to glass to create similar effects. Unlike traditional slag glass, the pink color in Rosalene comes from pure gold added to an opaque white glass batch. 6 1/2“W x 7 1/2 ”H
