Rare John Walsh Walsh, English glass epergne circa 1880-1910 Featuring 3 beautiful, delicate trumpet lily flower-shaped vases with a gold gilt vine / tree branch base Iridescent clear glass flowers nestle into vine-like spirals Hand-blown and formed glass trumpet flowers, so they are perfectly imperfect Ground and polished pontils on the vase bottoms Glass glows a soft green under 365n blacklight (no reaction at 395n) Marked in two places on metal base: R2381646 (I think that what it reads) Measures overall about 11-1/2" tall x 8" wide x 12" long Each tapered epergne flower is approximately 6" tall x 5" wide at their widest points Weighs about 1 pound 12 ounces before being packaged to ship Will be shipped fully insured Overall, very good antique condition with expected signs of age/wear including two tiny chips on the bottom of one epergne flower and surface scratches/scuffs. Hand-crafted flaws include a burst air bubble on the inside surface on one flower (does not go through), one trumpet has less iridescence than the other two and bubbles are present in all. Minor patina/oxidation on the metal base.
