Antique U.S. Glass McKinley Memorial Oval Bread Plate 1901 President 10.5” Antique U.S. Glass Company oval bread plate commemorating President William McKinley, issued shortly after his death in 1901. This pressed glass plate features a central raised portrait of McKinley surrounded by a laurel wreath border and the inscription: “IT IS GOD’S WAY — HIS WILL BE DONE” The plate measures approximately 10½ inches long by 8 inches wide and is crafted in clear pressed glass with crisp detail throughout. A beautiful and historically significant example of early American political memorial glass. Condition: Excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
