Antique Vanity Jar Hair receiver made from celluloid

Do you know what a hair receiver is? I didn't until recently. This sweet vanity box has the typical lid for a hair receiver, but can easily be used today for tissues, cotton swabs or as a decorative item. It is in good vintage condition. There is some discoloration on the inside of the box around the bottom edge. There is some sticky tape residue on the underside of the lid (I need more goo-gone!)
