Aynsley Rembrandt Teacup & Saucer Made In England Bone China Blue Gold Urn #171
Aynsley, a prestigious English bone china manufacturer founded in 1775 has produced tableware for the British royal house. The discontinued and hard-to-find Rembrandt pattern showcases Aynsley's mastery of intricate decoration and features a neoclassical design with gold urns, wide blue bands with scrollwork against a black backdrop and tiny squares with gold dots. The cup has a footed design with a golden accent at the bottom and the saucer gently slopes upward 1" at the rim so it seems to float above the table. Measurements: Cup: 2 7/8" tall, 3 7/8" wide including handle, 2 3/4" in diameter at rim, Saucer: 5 1/2" in diameter Excellent Condition: no chips, cracks, or crazing. Slight wear on gilding.
