These are a set of 2 matching cast iron Federal Eagle door stops or bookends. They are very heavy - over 5# each - so they would work well for either purpose. Marked Robert Emig, he was a PA distributor who would contract with local makers to reproduce antique pieces he/his staff had found. Great for a farmhouse or Colonial country decor. This dates from the 1950s/60s. Great office decor gift for fathers day. Condition: Very good original condition, there are some areas of wear on the "knees" of the bird, likely from being stored face in instead of face out.
