Fleur Tookey Art Glass 8” Vase - Signed & Numbered

Having obtained a Fine Art degree from Brighton College of Art in 1968, Fleur studied glassmaking and completed a postgraduate year at Stourbridge Art college. In 1969 she joined the Glasshouse in Covent Garden, soon becoming a director. Whilst blowing and selling her glass there, she helped to run the studio and gallery and keep it at the forefront of the studio glass movement until its closure in 1998.
