I love to buy old pieces of previously loved jewelry and take it apart and combine with new findings and beads to make brand new pieces . I have hundreds of pieces currently to take apart and will be making and posting new pieces as I make them. I currently have a couple of hundred pieces already made I am adding to my shop here !! Handmade Marcasite look and pink bead earrings with grey glass drop bead
This pair of earrings , other than the ear wires and head pins which are new, were otherwise completely made out of repurposed jewelry I had taken apart . The lovely Marcasite style spacer in the middle is gorgeous and the pink almost marbled looking bead on top are so striking together. I cannot really tell what material the pink bead is, , it is either very high quality plastic or acrylic or glass, and the spacer is not truly marcasite as far as I know, but is quite pretty and seems to be nice quality. The grey tone drop bead at the bottom is glass and is faceted to five you some reflection.
Overall it is a very striking pair of earrings.
