A significant and highly detailed glass "display ball" showcasing the master craft of internal handpainting. One side features a pair of brilliant blue birds perched on a gnarled pine branch, while the reverse depicts a longtailed bird in flight amidst soft green pine needles. The internal surface is finely frosted to capture the vivid pigments, while the exterior remains a highclarity polished glass orb. Includes its original blacklacquered tiered wooden stand. In excellent condition with no visible surface wear.
