Pair (2) Vintage Homer Laughlin "The Greenbrier" Resort Dessert Dishes

This product is a pair of vintage Homer Laughlin China "The Greenbrier" scalloped dessert dishes, originating from Newell, West Virginia. Produced for The Greenbrier Resort, these hotel ware dishes are oval shaped with a glossy finish and feature a scalloped rim and base along with the HLC rhododendron blossom on both sides. This pattern began in 1947 and, given their excellent condition, I estimate that these pieces were made in the 1970s. The backstamp is impressed, and the dishes weigh a total of 11.2 ounces for the pair. They are 5 inches long and 3 inches wide. Both dessert dishes are in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear.
