Meet Your Seller
Hi, I'm Cynthia. I am a shop owner on multiple platforms with 20+ years of experience. I do everything within my power, including packing with great care and shipping fully insured, to get your "thing of beauty" to you safely. I have recently moved to the mountains of eastern Tennessee where I find my treasures and offer them to you, the beholder. I hope you will find your "thing of beauty" here. I was raised in a home where bone china, silver and fine crystal were both used and appreciated. This translated into a love of antiques and handmade items of similar quality. I love the journey that leads me to these beautiful things and I hope you will enjoy my "finds" as much as I have enjoyed finding them. Please feel free to reach out to me via text or email with any questions you may have. I am frequently hiking on the weekends so your best chance of a speedy response will be during weekday business hours. Follow me on FB and Instagram where I share additional information on the creation/history of my items. Helping you find your thing of beauty, Cynthia

Rare Cera Glass Matching Square Trays Set of 2 in 24K Gold Trim Games Theme Chess & Dominoes 1950s MCM Barware USA
This is a Mad Man/Mid Century Modern style retro glass serving tray set by Cera Glass in a pattern featuring chess & domino pieces accented heavily in 22K gold on a clear smoked glass background. This pattern is incredibly rare and even rarer to find one in such excellent condition. Both have the Cera Glass mark. The set includes: Large square tray – 11.75″w x 1.75" d Sm square tray – 8″w x 1.5" d Cera Glass/Ceraglass was made in Hackensack, NJ, USA, in the 1950s & 60s. They created elegant mid century modern cocktail glasses, bar ware and other specialty pieces which were sold in high end department stores of the era. Anthony Velonis, who was already a famous WPA silkscreen artist, started the Ceraglass Company which pioneered methods of silkscreen printing on glass. Like Culver glass which operated at the same time period, his designs were trimmed in 22K gold. Condition*: Excellent to mint. I am not seeing any wear on the gold & the signatures are bright and complete (they are lighter gold and are the first things to wear.) The gold trim is in excellent condition and brilliant in color. Here and there are some black dots, especially the smaller tray but I think that may be part of the manufacturers process. 💲Want it for less?
