Rare Chet Cole Signed Hand- Blown Ruby Red Glass Pitcher
ruby glass piece is that of the American studio glass artist Chet Cole.About the Artist & MarkingsThe Artist: Charles Henry "Chet" Cole (1938–2017) was a well-known Vermont-based studio glass artist. He operated his own furnace, known as Country Glass. The Signature: The cursive script etched into the glass reads "Chet Cole".The Pontil Mark: Above the signature, you can see a prominent, rough circular scar. This is a rough pontil mark (or break), which indicates that the piece was individually hand-blown using a pontil rod rather than mold-made.
