Rare Signed Glass Act Studio Perfume Bottle - Master Krumrey Blown Art Glass Iridescent Yellow Base Blue Swirl & Plum JIP Top & Stopper 4” x 2”

Beautifully crafted vintage studio art glass perfume bottle / decorative vanity scent vessel. This striking piece features a completely hollow-blown, lightweight spherical base of soft blue glass wrapped in darker blue and purple horizontal ribbon trails. The look is completed by an amethyst-purple finial stopper that draws upward into an elegant, delicate spiral twist.The bottom features an exquisite, prominent artisan signature hallmark: a raised, custom-stamped cursive "K" made of fused dark glass applied directly over the hot pontil mark. A true testament to independent studio glass mastery. Collector's Note: Unlike the vast majority of Glass Act Studio pieces that only featured a temporary, peel-off paper label, this premium bottle was personally hand-signed by the artist with the permanent, kiln-fired black cursive "K" hallmark on the fire-polished base. An excellent, verified investment piece for the avid art glass collector.

Seeing a fired-on cursive "K" is a rare variation for this studio. Gaffers generally sign their work under a few specific circumstances: • Special Exhibitions: Pieces intended for high-end craft galleries or museum gift shops were often hand-signed to meet gallery requirements. • Limited Runs / Master Works: When an artist feels a particular piece turned out exceptionally well (such as having a perfectly balanced, fragile spire stopper like yours), they will occasionally sign it directly. • Apprentice vs. Master Pieces: It was common practice for studio assistants to make the standard production runs (which only got a sticker), while the master gaffer signed the select premium pieces they personally blew.
