Sgraffito Black & White Decorative Plate Signed Spalding

Approx 7.25” no chips or cracks One sgraffito technique is to first put a slab of clay on a plate mold, then when it is dry enough, glaze it black. After the black glaze is dried then trace a design on and scratched the parts meant to be white. A successful sgraffito has a vivid design with equal parts white and black, the white part should also be clean of any black.
