Staffordshire Enamels Harrods 1991 Christmas Box – Jane Fern – #194/200

A charming and exceptionally limited 1991 Harrods Christmas enamel trinket box, created by Jane Fern for Staffordshire Enamels of England.

The oval box features a wonderfully detailed Christmas scene on the lid with three children singing carols beside a decorated Christmas tree, rendered in rich traditional holiday colors. The deep emerald green enamel body is accented with gold-tone metal mounts and a hinged lid.

Open the box to reveal a glossy white enamel interior with a delightful wrapped Christmas present and holly motif inside the lid—a lovely little hidden detail.

The underside is clearly marked:

“Staffordshire Enamels – Hand Painted – Made in England”

“The Harrods 1991 Christmas box by Jane Fern. A limited edition of 200. Number 194.”
