Vintage '30s Moorcroft Pottery Grape & Leaf Vase, 5.1", Signed William Moorcroft

This vintage Moorcroft Pottery Grape & Leaf Vase, signed by William Moorcroft, is a beautiful piece of art pottery from the 1930s. (The pattern originated in 1928 and William Moorcroft died in 1945, so I am estimating the date to the 1930s.) Moorcroft Pottery began making this design in 1928 in Stoke-on-Trent, England. This vase is hand-painted with a glossy finish. The base color is a rich cobalt blue, with the leaves and grapes painted in greens, rich pinks, yellows, and purples. It stands 5.1 inches tall and 4.4 inches wide. Signed by the renowned William Moorcroft, it also has two incised/stamped marks: "Potter to HM the Queen" and "Made in England." This is both a beautiful and collectible piece from the early 20th century.

The vase is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear. The only visible crazing is on the base.
