Vintage porcelain covered sugar bowl or candy dish manufactured by C.M. Hutschenreuther in Hohenberg, Bavaria, Germany The piece features a classic mid-20th-century aesthetic with delicate gold and soft grey/tan foliage illustrations on a stark white porcelain body. It is accented by a polished gold rim and a characteristic teardrop-shaped gold finial/knob on the lid. While originally designed as a matching sugar bowl for a full fine china tea/dinner service, pieces with this low, wide profile are also frequently used standalone as elegant lidded trinket, candy, or decorative dishes.
