Vintage Hand Carved Stone Turtle Lidded Trinket Box Tribal Boho Decor READ

Item is pre-owned and in good condition with no cracks. There are a couple of small chip on the rim under the lid & one chip on the lid itself. These are both shown in last 2 pictures. Smoke free environment. I'm not sure what kind of stone this is with the streak through it. The top is more brown & the bottom more black. Turtle measures 3.25" long x 2" wide x 1.5" tall.
