Vintage MCM Handmade Turned Two Tone Inlay Wood Vase 7.25"H
A beautifully made example of fancy turned woodwork. The kind of object that demonstrates what a skilled turner could do when the goal is to show off rather than simply produce. Constructed in the segmented multiwood tradition: alternating staves of light and dark wood glued and turned on the lathe.
This is very typical of the turned woodwork of the 1960's, often produced in Denmark.
