Vintage Studio Pottery Vase - Dark Brown Black Glaze, Horizontal Bands, Small Bulbous Form
Beautiful vintage studio pottery vase featuring a rich dark brown to black glossy glaze with warm lighter brown banding and visible horizontal throwing lines. The piece has a rounded bulbous body that tapers into a graceful flared rim. Unsigned (common for many studio pieces). Measurements (approx):
Height: ~4" to 4.5" Diameter (widest): ~4" Opening: ~2.25"
Condition: Good vintage condition with light wear and some kiln marks/roughness on the base consistent with age and use (see photos). No chips, cracks, or hairlines. The glaze remains glossy and attractive. Perfect as a small bud vase for flowers, a desk accessory, or as part of a gallery wall or shelf display. Great for collectors of mid-century modern ceramics or studio pottery!
