VTG Japanese Aqua & White Lotus Porcelain Lidded Ginger Jar w/Gold Trim
This lovely vintage Japanese porcelain ginger jar features a theme of white lotus blossoms with different shades of green for foliage and touches of lavender on a light aqua background. The hand painted floral decoration has an opaque finish on a semi-gloss glaze background. The inside is white and the outside is aqua. There is 22kt gold trimming on the bottom and on the lid. There is a little wear at the bottom on the gold trim (see pic.). Overall in very good pre-owned condition. No chips or cracks. The original "Made in Japan" sticker is intact as well as a branded imprint which Google translates "MING TAO" (see pic.) Measurements: Height (w/lid) 8" Depth-5.75" Widest-4.75" Base-3"
