Up for sale is a spectacular, highly collectible piece of authentic indigenous art history: a vintage Pacific Northwest Coast model totem pole, hand-carved and signed by celebrated Nuu-chah-nulth (Nootka) artist Ray Williams.

This premium example features a magnificent Thunderbird with its original, outstretched wings fully intact. The totem features a beautiful vertical stack of highly detailed tribal figures finished in classic Northwest Coast polychrome pigments—deep forest green, bold crimson red, bright yellow, and obsidian black.

The reverse side shows excellent, clean hand-chisel work and features a deep, clear, incised signature reading "RAY WILLIAMS" directly in the raw wood grain.
