VINTAGE JAY WILLFRED LIDDED SOUP TUREEN, LADLE AND SERVING PLATTER HAND PAINTED
This LARGE tureen, ladle and serving platter were handcrafted in Portugal by Jay Willard. They feature a hand painted Fall design of brown flowers with green foliage. The lid has a figural green pear with coordinating leaves on top. The bowl is double handled with hand painted brown trim. The matching serving platter/underplate features the same design. The tureen is glazed inside and out. THIS TUREEN IS BIG AND HEAVY (weighs almost 5lbs). It is 10.5" tall (with lid) and has a 7" opening. It is approximately 11" wide in diameter. The seving platter is 12.5" in diameter. They are in excellent condition. There are no cracks, breaks, chips or repairs. There are a few paint splatters on the inside of the tureen and a glaze miss on one handle on top. Both manufacturing misses. No damage! (see photos).
