#0507 Yellow Depression Glass Creamer Sugar Primus by US Glass Co 1930s
2 pieces pale Amber yellow depression glass made in 1930s in USA. This pattern is called Primus. It is made by US Glass Co., of Indiana. Federal Glass reprised the pattern as "Recollection" in 1975. This cream and open sugar are vintage for sure, whether 30s or 70s of origin. No chips or cracks, excellent condition. Slight purple glow under black light. The U.S Glass Company's plant at Gas City, Ind., produced this line in clear crystal, green and light amber (yellow). The pattern was named primus because it was this company's first attemtp to produce pressed glass dinnerware by using the automatic tank method.
