#1414 Large 7" Lefton Piano Baby Boy and Girl Pair Bisque Porcelain

Vintage large piano baby bisque figurines set of 2 Boy and Girl. Seen listed as Lefton. These do not have any Maker's mark or label. Those with label are marked Lefton KW 1927 During the last two decades of the Victorian era, most well-decorated homes had a shawl on the piano. Bisque figurines of cute little babies were designed to help hold the shawl in place, as well as adding a decorative accent. They were manufactured by numerous companies well into the 20th century and ranged in size from 6 to 18 inches. They are of specific collector interest and referred to by collectors as Piano Babies.
