Some crazing Approx 4” x 4” The Lord Nelson pottery brand was established by Elijah Cotton Ltd. in Staffordshire, England, a region renowned for its ceramic production. The company operated for much of the 20th century, producing a wide array of tableware and decorative ceramics, including mugs, plates, and teacups. While the "big-eyed" art style is often associated with Japanese ceramics of the 1960s and 1970s, English potteries like Lord Nelson also produced items in similar popular decorative styles to cater to market trends. These pieces are now collected for their nostalgic appeal and as examples of mid-century decorative art from British manufacturers.
