1945 - 1948 Fire-King Jadeite Cup & Saucer Set of Three-The "Alice" Pattern

The Alice pattern has a distinct scalloped, wavy rim on the saucers, vertical ridges or ribbing along the lower half of the cups, and a delicate floral/leaf border embossed around the upper rim. They are made from opaque milk glass tinted a classic milky seafoam green that is referred to as jadeite. Many Alice pattern pieces were left unmarked or featured a subtle concentric circular "target" pattern on the bottom rather than the standard embossed Fire-King logo. The cups have the embossed Fire-King logo on the bottom. Each saucer has the concentric "target" pattern on the bottom. It does have a "ring of fire" when held into the light or sunshine. Which is typical of milk glass pre 1970. It is NOT UV reactive. I LOVE this pattern and I haven't run across it often. Each saucer measure approx 6" diameter and 3/4" high. Each cup measures approx 2 1/2"H, 4" diameter rim to rim, rim to end of handle 4 1/2". All 6 pieces weigh pre shipping 2 lbs. These are in excellent vintage condition with no call outs, chips or cracks. Stunning. Love jadeite!
