1970’s Crystal Chalet Bomboniere Basket Candy Dish /Vase W/ Split Handle Home Decor 8” T x 6” L x 5” W
Vintage clear glass chalet glass with handle and great detail. Could be used as a candy dish or displayed on its own. The first major Canadian distributors for the Chalet bomboniere were Chantili and Tex Novelty (Roy Craft). In 1972 bomboniere lines in clear crystal were also distributed by N.C. Cameron and Sons (Canada) and Riekes Crisa (United States). No sticker, unclear if it was made before 1972 or if it was made 1972 + in Canada or United States. Condition: No chips or cracks noted. Manufacturing imperfections: two areas of excess glass. One small bead of glass just before the base pedal and one on the side panel. Air bubbles: One area where it appears air bubbles escaped on the surface, they are on one of the larger points, two views shown in pictures. One bigger air bubble on another panel. Typical for vintage glass but worth noting. Measurements are approximate. Please see pictures for condition and measurements,as they are part of the description. N1-2B Thank you for looking!
