Excellent condition After Fenton stopped traditional glassmaking in 2011, the Fenton Gift Shop kept commissioning small-run “Limited Editions” that were hand-painted and signed by former Fenton artists (including J.K. “Robin” Spindler). Many of these were finished on leftover Fenton stock or on blanks. JK Spindler” is Robin Spindler (Judith Kay/‘Robin’)—one of their best-known decorators. She came to Fenton in 1979 after her family encouraged her to pursue a love of art and painting. Robin's unique designs are always of the highest caliber, and she says much of her inspiration comes from nature. Her talent has been recognized with many awards, including a Discovery Award for Technical Excellence, the Judges' Award from the Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators, and Awards of Excellence from Collector Editions magazine, as well as special recognition from the National Association of Limited Edition Dealers (NALED).
