14 - THREE (3) - Miniature Artisan Made Hand Sewn Bears (all 3 in the lot)

1. Wonderful vintage handmade miniature cowboy bear created decades ago by the seller’s aunt and retained within the family.

   This little fellow is identified on his original handwritten tag as “BEAR #96A” and “my own creation.” The tag remains attached and includes additional handwritten notes from the maker.

He is dressed head-to-toe for the Wild West with a bright red cowboy hat, yellow fringed felt cape/poncho, colorful neck trim, pink belt with decorative buckle, fuzzy red chaps and even a tiny silver-tone toy six-shooter in his paw.

The bear is handmade with moveable/jointed head and limbs, allowing him to be posed. His small scale and wonderfully individual handmade details give him loads of character.

2. Charming vintage handmade miniature panda bear, created decades ago by the seller’s aunt, who made and numbered her own handmade bears. Another surviving bear from her collection retains its original handwritten maker tag identifying it as her own creation.

   This petite panda measures approximately 4" tall × 2.5" wide and features moveable/jointed head and limbs, black-and-cream plush fabric, tiny detailed facial features and a bright red ribbon at the neck.

3. A whimsical miniature Bee Bear handmade by artist and art teacher Elyse Kilgour for her Lé Bear Miniatures & Jointed Bears collection.

   This tiny character is dressed as a bumblebee with a black-and-yellow striped body, little wire antennae and delicate translucent wings. He is the smallest of the three Lé Bear miniatures being offered from my personal family collection.

   Elyse Kilgour was my aunt, and these bears have remained with the family for decades. She created and sold her miniature collectible bears under the Lé Bear name.

   This bear retains an original Lé Bear Miniatures & Jointed Bears / Elyse Kilgour identification card.
