Antique Creil Montereau Sujets Musicaux Plate Les Dragons De Villars Maillart France Terre de Fer 8.5" Transferware c.1900s

Antique French transferware plate by Creil & Montereau from the Sujets Musicaux series, featuring “Les Dragons De Villars” by Aime Maillart. This decorative plate, marked Terre de Fer, dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s and measures approximately 8.5" across. The design shows a humorous scene from the opera, complete with staff notation and period attire. Marked on the back with the Sujets Musicaux stamp. Plate is in good antique condition with some rim wear in the form of some glaze defects. Colors remain vivid with no cracks or repairs noted. Some wear to the gold trim.
