Antique Edwardian Letter D Monogram Stick Pin Gold Filled Swivel Head Cravat Lapel Hat 2.4"

Featuring etched serif typeface letter D on an oval brushed finish plaque Dates to about 1900-1915 Unusual, hinged pin allows for the head to swivel nearly 180° Gold-filled metal top has a rolled edge and two tiny "teeth" Unmarked and untested Pin measures overall about 2-3/8" long Oval focal itself measures about 3/4" long x 1/2" wide Weighs about 2.2 grams More than likely a gentleman's piece for a cravat or lapel originally Overall, good working antique condition with signs of age/use/wear to include surface scratches/scuffs and a slightly bent pin. Metal is in original unpolished condition with patina/tarnish/oxidation. Rolled edging is hand-finished and slightly imperfect. Please examine the pictures carefully as this will be the exact item you receive. Please note that these pictures were taken extremely close-up, so some flaws may appear exaggerated or may not be visible to the naked eye.
