Antique Dugan Big Basket Weave 9-Point Marigold Carnival Glass Stretch Vase

This beautiful antique Carnival Glass stretch vase is a piece produced by the Dugan Glass Company from 1911–1913. It features the iconic and deeply pressed "Big Basket Weave" pattern along its exterior wall, a motif that perfectly transfers inside the vessel to form an attractive, geometric checkerboard look. While hot out of the multi-part factory mold, it was hand-stretched and pulled by a glassblower to form a gorgeous trumpet shape with a highly detailed, flared 9-point ruffled rim. Cloaked in a classic, vibrant Marigold iridescent finish, the surface reflects luminous orange, amber, and subtle pastel gold under direct light. This piece stands on a standard, completely unmarked three-part mold base; it remains in very good antique condition overall with a small chip along the outer edge of the base, which does not affect how securely the vase sits flat on a display shelf. The item measures approximately 8.75 inches in height, has an approximate top rim flare diameter of 3.5 inches, and sits on an approximate 3-inch diameter footed base.
