Bauer Pottery Strawberry Nursery Rhyme Base For Coin Bank
When I found this piece I really liked the strawberries and the script, but couldn’t figure out its original purpose. It didn’t quite look like a vase or a kitchen canister. WorthPoint has a photo of this piece with a wooden lid — it was actually a coin bank! So it’s missing the lid but is still a nice vintage piece. It’s 4.5” wide, 4” high and 3” deep and had no chips or cracks.
