Event Commemorated: The centenary (100th anniversary) of Queen Victoria's 1897 Diamond Jubilee. Inscription: "To Commemorate the Centenary of the Diamond Jubilee of H.M. Queen Victoria" wrapped around the top edge, and "1897 - 1997" at the bottom. Production Status: Released as a highly collectible, numbered limited edition of only 250 pieces globally. Design Features: The core typically features a colored translucent glass dome backdrop (often ruby red or deep purple/pink floral tones) encased in heavy clear crystal.
