This is an amazing '1-off', Caithness Scotland, ARTIST PROOF 'FREEFORM GREEN' PAPERWEIGHT! It was HAND SIGNED by the artist and the 1st made of this 'Freeform' pattern!!! OOAK! Other 'Freeform' versions have the machine made stamp/mark on them. THIS ONE IS HAND-SIGNED and states that it's a 'PROOF'!!!! The artists also wrote '907588' on the bottom and that is probably just the reference number for Caithness Glass. It has large controlled bubbles and layered green & glass white glass center 'blob' that appears a lighter green inside. You can see the white glass clearly on the bottom. 3.0" in diameter and 2.75" high. It also comes in a satin-lined Caithness hinged box!! Condition is great. There are a few tiny spots that are INSIDE the glass and are NOT surface mars or bruises/dings. You can't feel with touch-they are under the glass-also a couple very tiny ones you can feel, but are also from when it was made, as it is dimpled in slightly and has a TINY spec of the white color in it. Please remember this was a PROOF...a sample of the design FIRST made by the artist.
