- One-of-a-kind handcrafted spider suncatcher featuring a large faceted crystal body and articulated beaded legs created with pure copper wire, crystal and glass beads in rich purple, black and iridescent tones.
The spider's body is covered in a fanciful garden of dimensional flowers and articulated greenery. The design is inspired by spiders I observe around my forest woodland home. There's spiders that actually use bits of vegetation and natural material as camouflage and essentially they carry around their own little gardens with them wherever they go. They're actually pretty cute as far as spiders go.
At her center is a repurposed vintage 925 sterling silver Thailand earring, set with amethyst and marcasite, surrounded by delicate floral glass accents.
Finished with a gold-tone paperclip-style hanging chain. The articulated legs provide movement while the faceted crystal and glass elements catch and scatter light beautifully.
