Dutch Clog Shoe Planter Gouda-style made in Japan Vintage Vintage Gouda-style Dutch clog shoe planter made in Japan, a mid-century ceramic collectible from the 1940s–1950s. Designed to resemble a traditional wooden Dutch clog, it features hand-painted floral and geometric designs in vibrant colors including black, green, red-orange, and beige. The bold patterns reflect Art Deco and Art Nouveau influences similar to classic Dutch Gouda pottery. Inspired by Dutch ceramics, these planters were produced in Japan using lighter clay and exported to Western markets. The underside is stamped “Artistic Handmade Design Japan.” Measures approx. approximately 5.5” long x 2.5” tall Good pre-owned condition. Some crazing, no major cracks.
