Vintage Franciscan Covered Butter Dish and Lid Apple pattern Holds 1/4 pound of butter Earthenware Brown back stamp - "Franciscan Earthenware XS-70 Ovensafe Made in USA" 7 5/8" long X 3 1/4" wide X 3 1/4" tall to top of apple on cover Crafted in USA Condition - Does not look like it was ever used. One fine, straight line glaze crack in base. It does not penetrate into the earthenware. No chips, nicks, crazing. See photos.
