Hi, I'm Cynthia. I am a shop owner on multiple platforms with 20+ years of experience. I do everything within my power, including packing with great care and shipping fully insured, to get your "thing of beauty" to you safely. I have recently moved to the mountains of eastern Tennessee where I find my treasures and offer them to you, the beholder. I hope you will find your "thing of beauty" here. I was raised in a home where bone china, silver and fine crystal were both used and appreciated. This translated into a love of antiques and handmade items of similar quality. Gold Filled Swirl Rope Brooch w Pearl Accent by Wells Marked 1/20 12KT GF Large Vintage Costume Estate Pin + Gift Box
Marked 12KT GF swirl rope strand pin with pearl accent. I do not know if the pearl is real cultured, or faux but in my experience gold filled jewelry usually uses real pearls. The mark stands for gold filled which is a thicker plating than regular gold plated items. The piece must be at least 5% real gold to qualify as GF. Wells Jewelry Company operated from 1922 to 1978 so it is at least that old, this looks more like 1950s to me. Comes in a new jewelry box for storage or gifting, box size varies. Condition: Excellent condition. The prongs that lock the clasp are a bit on the small side so it may be a bit fiddly but it has been tested and opens easily.
