I have recently moved to the mountains of eastern Tennessee where I find my treasures and offer them to you, the beholder. I hope you will find your "thing of beauty" here. I was raised in a home where bone china, silver and fine crystal were both used and appreciated. This translated into a love of antiques and handmade items of similar quality. Holy Water Font Wall Pocket Bisque Porcelain Crucified Christ Vintage Japan ART 1961 Hand Painted Jesus Hangs or Stands - Japan
Vintage hand painted Japan ART holy water font/wall pocket dated 1961. This one is missing its original label but it was made by the ART company of Japan. Appears to be a fine quality porcelain bisque and the hand painting is extremely well done. Can be hung or used on a table top. Great on a gallery wall. Size: 3" w x 5" h x 2" d Condition*: Excellent condition for age. No chips or cracks. Inside the font where the water would sit there is a build up of some material, perhaps some type of adhesive. Most of it came off easily but there are a few flecks of it remaining inside the receptacle. Nothing that detracts from its beauty but I wanted to mention it. 💲Want it for less?
