He was a conservationist and entrepreneur who founded the Crater Club off of Whallon’s Bay on Lake Champlain in 1899. His career covered many fields. He was associate editor of Forest & Stream magazine, big game hunter and explorer, Klondiker, Adirondack businessman who was the first large scale producer of pre-cut log cabins. Map endpapers. Illustrated with b/w photographs. 272 pages. Inscribed by De Sormo on a free endpaper. The book is clean and tight. The DJ has some light wear and chipping.
