Kosta Boda Red & Clear Paperweight Style Art Glass 'Atoll' Bowl, For: 'Ruby Princess Inaugural 2008'Cruise Line

Measures 4.5"dia. x 2.5" high. GREAT COND! Orig, label, plus has Kosta Boda acid mark on the bottom. The Ruby Princess officially debuted in late 2028 with inaugural festivities in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Following her delivery from the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, the ship was officially named by The Bachelorette stars Trista and Ryan Sutter on November 6, 2008. The vessel then embarked on her maiden Western Caribbean voyage on November 8, 2008.Key Highlights from the 2008 Inaugural Season. Maiden Voyage Route: The maiden 7-day sailing departed from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, calling at Ocho Rios (Jamaica), Grand Cayman, Cozumel (Mexico), and the cruise line’s private island in the Bahamas, Princess Cays. Vessel Specs: At her debut, she was a massive 113,561-ton, Crown-class ship with a capacity for 3,080 guests and 1,200 crew members. Signature Amenities: She was among the first in the fleet to feature a piazza-style atrium, an adults-only retreat called The Sanctuary, and the Ultimate Ship Tour. Inaugural Mementos: Guests on the early preview and inaugural sailings received commemorative gifts, including distinctive ruby-colored or brown "atoll" glass bowls.
