This decorative clean & crisp LINEN TOWEL features a historical Italian maiolica pharmacy jar from the late 15th century. The jar in the print is decorated with a peacock-feather pattern and bears an inscription indicating its original purpose to hold medicinal water. Features a striking peacock-feather ornament in blue, green, and yellow. Inscription: The jar is labeled "aqua de bogolosa," translating to "water of bugloss". Origin: The original jar is featured at The Metropolitan Museum of Art attributed to Pesaro, Italy, circa 1470–1500.
