Mid Century Gravel or Pebble Art-Little Girl w/ Back Turned --Hair Just A Blowin' in the Wind-Holding a Basket-READ
This type of art was popular in the 1960s -1970s and is made by gluing colorful crushed rock, pebbles, or shells onto a board to create a mosaic design. This is framed in wood-the CALL OUT is the frame is slightly warped for whatever reason. Common themes w/ this type of art were kitschy animals, children and abstract figures. Typically they were marketed for nurseries or children's rooms. This is in otherwise very good vintage condition. It measures approx 7" x 13", 3/4" deep, 11 Oz. I am not sure if by just changing out the frame if the picture would then NOT be warped. It appears it is just the frame. For this reason I will start the bid at a much lower price as compared to sold comps of the same art or picture.
