Mid Century Maracas Celluloid Melamine Swirled Colors Musical Fun

Vintage pair of large pretty swirled plastic maracas with the best sound. Not sure if these are celluloid or some type of melamine. They have seems so possibly mold injected plastic from the 50’s. Various colors swirled into the main brownish purplish color. A great gift for the musically inclined be it a friend, family member, or yourself! Each are in great shape and free from damage..there is a black pen? Mark on one which is pictured in the last photo. Could possibly wash off. Size 8” long Almost 3” wide
