Nancy Anderson Studio Pottery Mug

This is a handcrafted, hand-painted stoneware coffee mug. The main design is a hand-painted blue cat on one side. The base is inscribed with the artist's name, Nancy Anderson, Nov. 2, 1981, and the philosophical quote, "Being happy is a way of being wise!" The phrase is a quote from the French novelist and philosopher, Anatole France. The mug stands approximately 3 inches tall in excellent condition appearing to be unused with no scuffing on the bottom nor dish washer wear.
