New Martinsville Glasses 4 Evergreen Moondrop Rocket Ship Uranium Art Deco 3.5”

This set of four cordial glasses from New Martinsville (later became Viking) are a stunning addition to any collection. The vintage glasses feature an art deco design with a green color - referred to as Evergreen by the company - and the Moondrop product line. These glasses are made with uranium glass and they glow! Hand wash only to preserve their original beauty. This set was advertised as new in a trade journal ad that appeared in 1933. These pieces were produced for a very short period of time. The glassware was difficult to pull from the manufacturing molds, and pieces broke very easily. They were all so susceptible to flaws - please note that two of the glasses in this listing have straw marks. CONDITION - These glasses are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. However, there are straw marks on two of the glasses from the manufacturing process. Made in the United States with pressed glass production style and technique. Perfect for all occasions, these glasses are not signed and are an original. The item height is 3.5 inches
