Nippon Celery Oval Dishes Green Pink Roses Gold Trim Handled Antique 1900s (Set of 2) Two very pretty antique Nippon hand-painted celery serving dishes, likely dating from the early 20th century. White porcelain base decorated with pink rose blossoms, gold gilding (often including moriage accents), and a vibrant green border.. Crafted in Japan and often bear a "Hand Painted Nippon" backstamp. Porcelain serving dishes, relish trays or celery bowls. Nippon "Rising Sun" backstamp in blue, which dates them to between 1911 and 1921. Measures approx. 12” L x 5.5” W. Good pre-owned condition.
